POSITION SUMMARY

  • To carry out servicing/repair of electronic security equipment work in the construction, maintenance, and other related equipment.

  • To commission and audit sites undergoing or completed by the Installation team.

  • Help to develop and design work and assist in the development of new security products.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES 

  • Understand the system architecture and software of the different product lines that SPG support.

  • Understand the correct application of security systems such as alarm monitoring, access control, CCTV, intercom, alarm panels and computers.

  • Understand and have the ability to fault find and resolve technical issues.

  • Have the knowledge of working and repairing faults with workstations (computers).

  • Have the knowledge of IP technology.

 

ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
 

  • Work effectively with Operation Manager and Installation Technicians to deliver projects on time.

  • Liaises regularly with both new and existing customers.

  • Show good time management.

  • Keep a clean work environment.

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

 

  • Maintain and service clients and assist Installation Technicians in commissioning new sites.

  • Document new sites and hand over to Service department.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of Austarlian Standards and Building Codes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software

  • Able to build strong relationships internally and externally.

  • Able to work conflicting priorities

  • Think flexibly and conceptually, and solve problems to increase business efficiency.
